Staff Student Liaison Committees

The actions that come from these meetings could be loaded into Jira so that it would be easy for those that have the action against them to update it. It was noticed last year that updating actions for the matters arising section for the committees was taking a long time. The reason for this was that a member of the Quality Team would have to go to each individual that had the action against them to get the update. At the next meeting time would be allocated to updating the previous actions for all present.

All SSLCs for this term have now taken place. We are now looking at how to best move forward with this.

External Examiner Action Plans

Every course at the College has an External Examiner that visits the College and creates a report. This report highlights good practice and areas of concern or in need of improvement. This information is placed into an action plan which is then sent to the University of Sussex. We would like to use Jira for the actions that arise. This would allow us to see which actions have been completed and which are ongoing. Last year the Quality Team would take time to go to each Subject Leader before their Course Committee to update the action plans.
