About kml import:
The kml import script is a plug-in script for ecto. If your're into blogging and a Mac user then I'm sure you'll've heard of ecto. With this plug-in script you can quickly and easily insert KML metadata into a blog entry without mucking with the KML files.

Installation:
The fastest way of installing script plug-in is to launch ecto, then go to 'Script' > 'Open folder' menu and drop the plug-in in. To see how click here.

Ok so where has the script been saved to script?
The script lives inside a folder call scripts, inside your home directory, Library, Application Support, ecto, then scripts.

A quick way to open this location if you have the Terminal open is:

open ~/Library/Application\ Support/ecto/scripts/

To import your KML data into a blog post is very straight-forward with ecto. If you've installed the plug-in, simply go up to menu bar and choose Script > kml import when you have an entry window open.
