Customising
I want to be more than a number. Can I have my name show up?
You can pretty much customise all of your blog properties. You don't need to display your user id or student number. You can change the title and description of your blog. You can even change the contact email address. It's your blog, so it's pretty much up to you. See Personalising your Blog for more information.
I don't like what my blog looks like. Can I change the appearance?
You can select from one of the pre-installed blog templates by going to Administration > Plugin Settings > Configure Plugins > Theme Switcher plugin. You can also upload a theme you've built from this screen. Look out for a tutorial on creating blog themes soon!
Can I upload static HTML pages, like an "about me" page?
Yes. Any velocity template you create can be served as a static page. If you're feeling adventurous, check out the Blojsom documentation
