Subscribing to your Podcast feed from your blog
In order people to download your podcasts, they must subscribe to it though there own Mac or PC. In this tutorial you'll learn how to subscribe to your own podcast feed from your blog at blogs.rave.ac.uk

Stage 1: Where do we start?
If you go your blog home page you'll see your new podcast entry at the top of your blog, just like any other kind of blog entry.
Now if you scroll down the page to where your see Syndication and click on RSS your blog web page will change.

Stage 2: Copy and paste our RSS feed address
Depending on what web browser your using will depend on what you'll see but we're not about that to much.
The key thing here is to cope the URL in the in the address bar at the top of your web browser. The two things note is that the URL starts with http:// and ends in /?flavor=rss2.
eg. http://blogs.rave.ac.uk/blojsom/blog/91234567/?flavor=rss2

Stage 3: Subscribing to our feed in iTunes
Ok let's fire up iTunes on your Mac or PC. With iTunes open goto the menu bar at the top of the screen: Advanced > Subscribe to Podcast...

Stage 4: Adding your feed in iTunes
Now from copying the URL from Stage 2 we can now past it into the 'Subscribe to Podcast' box and then click OK You'll then see iTunes start to download any podcasts it can see to iTunes.

Stage 5: Time to play
Now that iTunes has finished downloading our podcast, we can just simply click on it and then click on the big play button in the left hand corner.

note: If you look at the image above, the column call 'Podcast' equals are 'Blog entry title' in the image below. Also the 'Description' equals are 'Blog entry text' area.
