Installation:
The fastest way of installing script plug-in is to launch ecto, then go to 'Script' > 'Open folder' menu and drop the plug-in in. To see how click here.
Ok so where has the script been saved to script?
The script lives inside a folder call scripts, inside your home directory, Library, Application Support, ecto, then scripts.
A quick way to open this location if you have the Terminal open is:
open ~/Library/Application\ Support/ecto/scripts/

Geo-Blogging tutorial - London Heathrow Airpot (LHR - EGLL)
Fire up ecto on your Mac then go to the menu bar > Scripts > GEB Long Lat.
Stage 1 - Longitude coordinates

Here we can enter in our Longitude coordinates for Heathrow airpot. Longitudinal lines are the vertical ones.

Stage 2 - Latitude coordinates

Here we can enter in our Latitude coordinates for Heathrow airpot. Latitude lines are the horizontal ones.

Stage 3 - Advanced options
|
If your happy with just entering in Longitude and Latitude all you need to do is to click 'No I'm happy thanks' but if your want to go further click 'Yes please !!'. By doing so you can edit the hight above your location, the angle you view it at and the direction ie. the heading.

Stage 4 - Altitude (Advanced options)
|
One can set the hight above Heathrow Airpot be it in Feet or Meters. In this case at 1500 Feet above the ground.

Stage 5 - Tilt angle (Advanced options)
|
Here you can set the angle of tilt, of which you can view the airport say at 32°.

Stage 6 - Heading (Advanced options)
|
By default Heading is set to North ie. 0°/360° you can set the Heading to any angle you like, say East at 90° so we can view it looking towards the East.

Now we can see our post with in ecto with our newly created meta data added.
